Contractors State License Board

  • Be sure your contractor is licensed for field that you are hiring him for.
  • Check to see if his license is current and in good standing.
  • Check to see if he has a current license.
  • Make sure he has a workers compensation insurance policy.

1. Always hire licensed Contractors.

2. Don't sign a contract on the spot.

3. Ask for a State Contractors License Number.

4. Ask to see a Drivers license and log the number.

5. Never pay Cash for a down payment.
